About

My Background

I earned the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology (MSIDT) at California State University, Fullerton in 2022 (GPA 4.0). My goal is to help improve digital education and training experiences.

My most recent employment is as an instructional designer at the 99 Cents Only Store, the retailer of value stores in the southwestern United States. I created and defined content and training curriculum for technical and non-technical audiences, including corporate employees, and store and warehouse associates. Multimedia training included interactive eLearning modules, videos, audio, web content, and infographics.

Previously, I worked as the instructional designer for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Programs (DIEP) at California State University, Fullerton. The training programs my department developed were devoted to establishing awareness and transforming mindsets, behaviors, and practices of more than 40,000 students, staff, and faculty at CSUF. E-Learning courses were tailored to each project’s specific needs, starting with storyboards, and ending up with reality-based scenarios, engaging interactions, and formative and summative assessments.

I enjoy making digital products engaging, useful, intuitive, and accessible. I take into consideration people of different backgrounds and abilities, including those who may have limited experience with technology. My experience in both design and development strengthens my interdepartmental communication with developers, designers, and stakeholders.

When I’m not designing and building digital products, I'm enjoying the outdoors, volleyball, pickleball, podcasts, video games, and exploring culinary innovations.
