Brenton Jenkins Portrait

I'm a UX Designer and Front End Developer, living in Redondo Beach in the Greater Los Angeles area.

After earning my Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I worked in the food industry for eight years. As a Product Development Manager, I oversaw products’ full life cycles - from ideation to launch and post launch. Balancing multiple projects and deadlines reinforced my commitment to effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.

Following my interest in the digital space, I completed the Fullstack Coding Boot Camp at UCLA Extension and a series of courses in UX Design and UX Research. Today, I enjoy making digital experiences better by designing accessible, useful, and intuitive digital products.

My design decisions are backed up with thorough research. I consider users’ different backgrounds, including those who may have limited experience with technology. My experience in both design and development helps me appreciate the importance of responsive products and strengthens my interdepartmental communication with developers, designers, and stakeholders.

When I’m not designing and building digital products, I'm enjoying the outdoors, volleyball, pickleball, podcasts, and exploring new food and drink.
