The Five Basic Tastes

The Five Basic Tastes learning module was created as a project for the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology Program at Cal State University, Fullerton. It's an interactive learning experience that introduces the five basic tastes: sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami. It discusses the concept of taste, where on the tongue each taste is located, how taste differs from flavor, and examples of foods that exemplify each taste. There is an interactive, educational game toward the end of the module.
